Volunteers, participants, and their families shared their heartfelt stories about what RDA means to them and how it positively impacts their lives.
We were moved by the following stories.
Charlotte shares her inspiring journey as a volunteer and how her dedication contributes to the magic of RDA programs while Caleb, one of the participants, describes riding his horse as “magical” and “like riding on a cloud.”
Coach Rhiannon shares how the horses play a crucial role in our programs, acting as vital members of our staff. Their impact goes beyond riding lessons—they contribute to the well-being and development of participants. Participant Esther and her mum, Alison, express their gratitude for the program. For them, it’s more than just riding; it’s an opportunity to engage, learn, and enjoy.
Fiona shares how the program has positively impacted her daughter Emma, highlighting the therapeutic and developmental advantages and Caleb and Toby are featured in action, showcasing their involvement and the benefits they gain from the program.
Justin Dent, the Executive Officer of RDAA, highlights the organization’s six decades of presence in Australia and RDAA’s mission in fostering connections among people and providing horse riding programs for individuals with disabilities. Justin also shares a heartwarming story about a magical moment within an RDAA program.
